A kneeler bench supports a worker’s back when kneeling, helps them stand up from a kneeling position, and provides a stool to sit on. It is versatile assistive technology for workers with lower back pain, back injuries, total knee replacement, hip replacement, osteoarthritis, rheumatoid arthritis, degenerative joint disease, and many other lower extremity impairments. Workers can support their chest on the kneeler while planting vegetables or pulling weeds in a field or garden to relieve back pain. They can kneel on the cushion while changing a tire in the shop, then push up on the handles to return to a standing position. Workers can sit on the bench while pruning bushes and landscaping.
