Water!  So simple yet such an essential part of animals’ health. During the wintertime frozen water can be the bane of any livestock or horse owner’s existence.  No one looks forward to the chore of chipping water tanks, thawing frozen buckets, or hauling water more than necessary

Colder temperatures often mean our animals drink less water than during warmer months.  Obviously, during hot weather animals need more.  However, just because it is cold does not mean they need less water than during moderate temperatures – they often need just as much or even a little more.   Since colder temperatures mean animals require more energy just to maintain body weight, they must eat more to keep their weight on.   Water consumption is often directly related to feed intake, and to keep our animals at a healthy weight, not to mention weight gain or milk and egg production for our production animals, they must have plentiful water.

Keeping that water available all the time is difficult during the winter time and can be made even more challenging for workers with limited mobility.  Deicers are a perfect tool to help you care for manage your animals better.
We provide a range of options to use during wintertime management of water supplies.  From deicers to heated buckets to heated waterers a variety of different types are available for everyone from the backyard animal owner to the  larger farm owner.  Keep those animals healthy and keep that water unfrozen!

Jesus said “But whosoever drinketh of the water that I shall give him shall never thirst; but the water that I shall give him shall be in him a well of water springing up into everlasting life.”

The Lord offers us living, spiritual, satisfying and purposeful water.  Believing on the Lord Jesus is the way to drink this water.  When we drink the Living water, it transorms our lives and then that water flows from us to bless others also.  When we reject Christ and pursue temporary pleasures, we are like a person trying to collect water in a cracked bucket or trying to drink from a frozen trough! Think of a thirsty person licking the bottom of a leaky bucket.  Never satisfied.  Drink from the waters of Christ, and enjoy a life of fullness and purpose.  Contentment.  Email me if you would like to discuss the living water and learn how to recieve it.  ned@disabilityworktools.com
