Description
Working with electric wire requires stripping and cutting. The typical wire stripper requires clamping and pulling to strip the sheath off of the wire. This can take a reasonable amount of strength and both hands.
With the Self-Adjust Wire Stripper/Cutter, one jaw grabs and removes the wire’s insulating casing, the other holds the wire in place as the handles are squeezed and the casing stripped. The tool includes a knob that screws in and out to increase or decrease the jaws’ force or “pull,” allowing adjustment for different wire thicknesses. One hand can be used for this tool. Workers with arthritis, amputation, and other hand or arm disabilities will find it easier and less fatiguing to use the Self-Adjusting Wire Stripper/Cutter.
