Description
A Ladder Safety Post can be installed at the top of access ladders to allow for easier and safer exiting of the ladder. Many access ladders end at the same level as the surface the worker is trying to get on. Workers with lower and upper extremity impairments cannot safely exit regular access ladders that require strong arms and legs plus good balance to climb. The Ladder Safety Post will allow the worker to grab the top as they get off the ladder. A worker with a prosthetic leg would be safer utilizing a Ladder Safety Post than a ladder without one that requires strong legs and good balance.
Workers with common conditions such as these would benefit from a Ladder Safety Post
