Description
Those with visual disabilites as well as those with mobility issues can find it more difficult to catch animals in heat. Catching animals in heat is an important part of animal reproduction. This chin marker will help identify cows that are mounted without having to mark tails or glue heat tags. Workers with disabilities will be able to record heats without handling the animal.
Workers with common conditions such as these would benefit from a Bull Point Marker: Mobility Impairment, Visual Impairment, Degenerative Joint Disease.
The marker fits under the chin of the teaser (Gomer) bull. The stainless steel ball bearing, working on the same proven principle as the ball-point pen, marks cows in heat with a specially formulated, nontoxic marking fluid that adheres to the ball and resists drying. The adjustable leather harness holds the reservoir securely under the bull’s chin. The fluid reservoir holds a sufficient supply for 50-60 mountings. It is easily refilled by removal of the marker from the animal and inserting ink through the inspection valve at the top of the tank.
