Description
Vertical Drum and Bucket Grippers are used by workers with leg amputations or other mobility impairments to move barrels without leaving the forklift seat. The forklift operator drives to the barrel, lowers the gripper to the top of the barrel, then lifts, moves and sets it down by simply operating the controls in the forklift operator station. Without this forklift Vertical Drum and Bucket Gripper, the operator would need to climb off the forklift, chain or strap the barrel in place, then climb back into the forklift to move the barrel. The forklift Vertical Drum and Bucket gripper relieves the need to climb and use two-hand manipulation to secure the barrel.
Workers with common conditions such as these would benefit from a Forklift-mounted drum gripper: Arm Amputation, Arthritis, Balance / Core Stability, Cerebral Palsy (CP), COPD (chronic obstructive pulmonary disease), Diabetes/Diabetic Neuropathy, Chronic Fatigue Syndrome, Fibromyalgia, Hand Injury, Total Hip Replacement, Total Knee Replacement, Leg Amputation, Lower Extremity Impairments, Mobility Impairment, Multiple Sclerosis (MS), Muscular Dystrophy, Obesity, Old-Age, Paraplegia, Spinal Cord Injury, Stroke, Osteoarthritis (weight bearing joints).
