Fruit Harvester

Workers with mobility impairments can use a fruit harvester on a pole to pick fruit without climbing.

Description

Workers with mobility impairments can use a fruit harvester on a pole to pick fruit without climbing. Those who are paralyzed, or have shoulder or back injuries can find it difficult or impossible to struggle with heavy ladders or climb to pick fruit. Fruit harvesters have a rigid wire basket and ‘fingers’ mounted on the end of a 8-foot handle.

Workers with common conditions such as these would benefit from a Fruit Harvester: Aging, Ankle Pain, Arthritis, Back Injury, Balance / Core Stability, Bariatric, Diabetes/Diabetic Neuropathy, Chronic Fatigue Syndrome, Fibromyalgia, Heart Disease, Total Hip Replacement, Total Knee Replacement, Leg Amputation, Lower Extremity Impairments, Multiple Sclerosis (MS), Paraplegia, Degenerative Joint Disease.

Allows user to reach approximately 14 ft. (this includes the 6-ft. reach of the user, plus the 8-ft. pole).

Wheelchair users can reach approximately 12 ft.

Vinyl-coated, heavy-gauge wire basket is durable and comes with a foam rubber cushion to protect the fruit from getting bruised.

Hardwood handle is 8 ft. L.
