Disability Work Tools coordinates services with government programs that fund assistive technology that help people with disabilities work. We establish vendor-ship with state Divisions of Vocational Rehabilitation (DVR) and with the Veterans Administration Vocational Rehabilitation services. Vocational Rehabilitation and Rehabilitation Services counselors can count on Disability Work Tools to research and provide the most appropriate work tools on the planet so they can close more cases successfully.

Disability Work Tools is all about helping working men and women find the tools they need to keep working. We are the most complete single source of adaptive outdoor and tradesman tools and equipment anywhere in the world for people with disabilities want to work, but don’t want to sit at a desk all day. We provide objective assistive technology consultation services to people with disabilities who want to work with their hands or who are living in rural areas.

We offer comprehensive onsite farm assessments throughout North America to help farmers learn of farm tools and methods to give their body a break. Farmers with physical limitations or disabling conditions due to injury, illness or aging will learn of farm-specific methods and tools to help them continue their occupation. A professional recommendation report including cost estimates and vendors for all onsite farm assessment recommendations will be provided following the assessment. The cost of onsite farm assessments are based on an hourly rate plus actual travel expenses. Call us for a price estimate.

In states that have active AgrAbility Projects, farmers can receive cost-free farm site assessments from their state. The AgrAbility Project was created to assist people with disabilities employed in agriculture. The project links the Cooperative Extension Service at a land-grant university with a private nonprofit disability service organization to provide practical education and assistance that promotes independence in agricultural production and rural living. The AgrAbility Project assists people involved in production agriculture who work both on small and large operations.
