A worker with one arm can drive stakes and punches by using this slide hammer. Usually one arm is required to support the stake or punch, and the other arm is used to swing a hammer to drive the stake in to the ground or to hit the punch. A slide hammer is the perfect tool for workers with one arm because the same hand can both position the object and drive the hammer at the same time.
This slide hammer has various interchangeable end pockets to drive different shaped stakes. The worker simply fits the stake or punch in the end pocket, positions the stake or punch as needed, then slides the hammer handle back and forth. The slide hammer design allows the same arm to both hammer and support the stake or punch.
Works great to:
Drive pins out with a punch
Drive construction stakes (without bending down!)
Drive tree support stakes in orchards
Mark row ends in a garden
Pound tent stakes
Workers with common conditions such as these would benefit from a Slide Hammer Pounder:
Arm Amputation, Cerebral Palsy (CP), Diabetes/Diabetic Neuropathy, Prosthetic Limb, Stroke, Visual Impairment, Rheumatoid Arthritis (hands, wrists, knees & feet)
