Description

The Pickup Magnetic Grabber enables workers to pick up small metal objects on the ground or in hard to reach spots.  It also  enables workers with hand impairments involving decreased fine motor coordination and dexterity to grasp and release small metal objects without having to pinch with their fingers. The magnet picks up items, a pull handle releases the magnet to drop the load. It is necessary to use gross gripping with the hand to squeeze the release handle, but fine dexterity is not needed.

The magnetic pick-up tool is also useful for workers with visual impairments to pick up small metal objects from a floor or table that would otherwise be hard to see.
